Hi,
I’m not quite clear what you are describing. Is the problem that you cannot see the FSX window even though FSX has loaded?

Have you somehow told the sim to load minimsed to a tab rather than full screen or as an open window?

You may be on to something there Mark. A few years ago I found that FSX, after loading, did not appear in the normal window but I discovered that a small rectangular box had appeared at the right hand end of my task bar and if I clicked that then FSX reappeared in a window. I have no idea what gave rise to this issue in the first place but after a few occurrences the problem disappeared and hasn’t reoccurred - yet another FSX mystery!

If this problem is that the FSX item appears on the Taskbar, but the FSX window or full-screen is not visible, then I would select the FSX item on the Taskbar and press ALT+ENTER a couple of times.

There are various reasons for this, for example somehow the simulator did not close properly and the screen coordinates were not saved with proper values.

To be sure, I would start FSX, select the Taskbar item and press ALT+ENTER until windowed, arrange the window and close. then start FSX again, it should appear in the window, then press ALT+ENTER for full-screen, it should now go to full-screen, then close.

During close of FSX it should successfully remember the screen coordinates. If not then investigate why the screen coordinates are not saved, perhaps an addon stopping the simulator closing down fully.
