February 19, 20215 yr Wondering if anyone else has had problems with the Mooney 20 on Approach mode not locking onto the ILS. Tried 3 different airports, same problem. OBS shows LOC and GS, but aircraft goes right past them with app engaged and never locks onto either one???

February 19, 20215 yr Author Seems to be a couple of bad airport ILS approaches. Just tried 26L in KATL and it works perfectly. I had trouble with EGSH and KBTL airports. Glad the Mooney is OK> Edited February 19, 20215 yr by Bobsk8
February 19, 20215 yr I did notice something weird. The autopilot will keep my altitude if I first go into Approach mode, then cancel it. I have to engage ALT and then disengage ALT again to get it to release.
