February 20, 20215 yr I have been flight simming since the dawn of flight sims. I skipped over FSX from FS2004 and went to X-Plane. After half a year almost to the day, I feel MSFS is finally out of beta. I know not everything is 100% (some default aircraft still have major issues), but for the flying I do (FBW 320NX) it is very enjoyable. The last update did it for me: - clouds and atmospheric lightning - weather is getting closer to real life - performance on a mid-highish system is really enjoyable I hate the fact that it has become an industry practice to release software titles premature and let paying customers do 'final' testing. But it is a fact and we can live with it or not support it. Developing cost are huge for titles like this and part of me can not blame them, but I still don't like it. I must say MS/Asobo have shown that they are serious and are listening. I feel MSFS is a very good base for the future, I for one enjoy it tremendously. My 2 cents (Canadian) Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
February 20, 20215 yr I have been watching the community from various forum vantage points, and wondering idly when the apparently obligatory acceptance reluctance, would gradually segue into They-will-have-to-pry-it-from-my-cold-dead-hands. 😘 We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
