Under scenery Tab make sure your level of detail radius slider is at large ,hope it helps.John

Hello Emile! From your screenshot, that looks more like the FSX haze layer than a scenery radius problem. Some of the posts in the active sky forum mention that. You might want to ask over there just to be sure. AFAIK, there is no fix for it yet.HTH,VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

Hi,It's not the haze as the haze would be around the plane. Have you modified the texture files?Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

That looks like the typical problem seen in FS9 where the visibility is set all the way right. Landclass is only drawn out to a certain distance from the user, with a generic terrain texture used in the far distance.scott s..

Did you install add ons that would have modified the texture file? In FS9 this can be overcome by reducing the visibilty and/or cloud draw distance, or using the TextureMaxLoad tweaks found on their forums. I don't know if they'll work for FSX (if even available). For some reason your system settings are not drawing all the textures fast enough giving you the blurred scenery. Maybe check your graphic card settings.Hope this may helpJohn M

Hello,I have installed Cloud9 Landclass for Australia. No other textures modifications.

Hello,I have made some testing.1/ I increased the Radius (is actually at 4.5) : on my system not a lot of improvment in the scenery (same squares coming up in front of the AC and removed behind) and my FSX freezes with a radius above 4.7 at 72% when Building Terrain Mesh.2/ Without Cloud9 Landclass : the result is the same !! BUT as the colour (more green) in the Cloud9 Landclass is different from the "base" ground generated by FSX you see the squares more in details!FYI I prefere the resulting scenery with the Cloud9 despite these squares and I hope to have "very soon" nice clouds generated by ASvXX so that the ground will be less visible in the distance !! We are not far from Christmas , no?..... ASv Team?Attached shot : 2 with Cloud9; 1 without Cloud9.

The modified land class textures have different coloration than the default ones that were used to create the very low resolution imagery of the globe. The low res globe imagery is used to texture the most distant terrain that is visible from high altitude. The only way to "fix" the problem would be to rebuild the globe imagery using the new land class textures, but that's not easy.-Adam
