Where are Marketplace Purchase Files?

Featured Replies

I just purchased the Mooney Ovation at the Marketplace and I also use MSFS AddonsLinker. I would like to have the aircraft in my Aircraft folder for "AddonsLinker", much like I do for any of the great Mods I use (to keep my Packages folder size down and save space on my C:\ Drive when not using a particular addon airport or livery etc.). I know the "Mooney" files do not reside in my Packages folder. I am wondering where and if so, is it possible to use Marketplace purchases with "AddonsLinker"? It would be nice if we had a choice to make purchases either through the Developer or the Marketplace.

Addon linker only works with community folder files.

To disable marketplace addons you would normally go into the content manager in game and uninstall (this just disables, they are still there and you do not need to download again when you want to turn them back on) .

It would be nice if addon linker could work with marketplace files as well but currently at least, it cannot.

Thanks for that. I guess we at Microsoft’s mercy if we want to save disk space...lol

Maybe you missed it but it can also handle add-ons in the official folder. Caution is required so it’s a bit of a hidden option but it’s there
