FBW: how to reset MCDU?

Featured Replies

Well, getting too real. Never had this before. Any idea what could cause this and how to restart the MCDU? Started right from World Map, spawning on RWY. All running exept this one thing...

Not sure, but perhaps resetting ADIRS will help to get the ND working again

thanks Hans, getting too old and should better stay away from even "study level" planes when not even able to cope with errors like this one. Anyway, restarted the flight and all good. guess that's not the way it's supposed to be though IRL 🙂

We're oldies but goldies, Phil 🙂 . Good to hear you've got everything up and running again.

But , this title was a good question.

If you want to make a return flight, wihout exiting the sim, how to reset the MCDU ?

Thanks.

nonetheless I am curious as to what exactly triggered that rainbow screen? even that one looks professionally real so there must be a reason why FBW even created it. maybe @AGuther or @IcemanFBW can help if I ask them politely....?

No doubt they can tell you. Unfortunately I don't have a  A320 FCOM/AOM so I could only guess that the ADIRS were malfunctioning
