I've sold a bunch of PC parts to friends lately, and the only thing I can say is...that's not a friend price.

I have that system (2015) sitting here in a closet and would pay to ship to you if in the USA for only $1,225.00.  It has a GTX 970Ti.  You will need your own storage discs and operating system.

How much to ship to the UK? 😝

Joking aside, I also have a Haswell/4th Gen based system and it's still going pretty strong after 7 years, albeit with a GTX 1060.

When I upgraded to 32GB and a 3070 I actually gave the left over 16GB and RTX 2060 to a friend as she only had 8GB and a 1050ti.  Seemed no point just sticking them in a cupboard forever.

Well my friend said you will not be happy with this.  Was just an intim fix,

He does not build computers anymore and said to go to Canada Computers up here and Canada and they can .

Here is the parts list he suggested

CPU Intel i9-9900K 5.0GHz LGA 1151

- Motherboard MSI MPG2390 w/Wireless DDR4 LGA 1151

- RAM - Viper Steel Series DDR4 3200MHz (2x16) 32GB

- P/S Corsair RM850W modular Power Supply

- DVD - ASUS DRW-24 drive

- SSD (O/S) 870 EVO 500GB Samsung

- SSD (Flightsims) 870 EVO 2TB Samsung

- CPU Cooling - Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

- Video Card - MSI or EVGA RTX3080 10GB

- PC Case - Various but recommend full tower with liquid cooling capability and front slot for

DVD Drive
. Cooling fans front and rear.

- PCI USB 3.0 - 6 slot Internal Expansion card

- Windows 10 Pro

- Misc SATA cables, SSD Mounting hardware, etc.

The cost with taxes and added Ont Gov't environmental charges is approx $3950 + or - $150

The brands I list are the ones I have used for years and have been the most reliable. You could try cramming this all into a Mid Tower case but then you for sure sacrifice cooling and possible issues with the big RTX 3080 GPU.

Wil spend the money considering I keep computers until they die.

I still have the Desktop using Window XP and running FS2004

Not to much works anymore so its time

Anyways thanks everybody for your responses
