March 12, 20215 yr What is the best way to stay current on mods. Scouring github or flighsim.to is getting rather tedious after every MSFS update. The FlybyWire update method is the only exception. Is there a way to auto update mods as they are released, or am I asking for too much? March 12, 20215 yr Flightsim.to has a view your downloads section that will indicate if anything you previously downloaded has been updated. On the main screen, click your username at the top right and in the resulting menu select "My Downloads". It defaults to showing you anything that has been updated. Other than that, no, there is no other way to auto update mods. ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.
March 12, 20215 yr It would be great if there was a tool that could scan your addons folder and download and install updates straight away from flightsim.com! Until then, Jim is spot on. Flightsim.to is NOT one of those sites that scours the web sucking up anything it finds that might be related to flight simming. It relies on authors for their initial and updated uploads. Which is a very good thing, IMHO. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. And, again IMHO, the people behind the site have created an excellent experience. Easy to find stuff. Easy to keep stuff upgraded. If I had to guess, I'd say that may be the reason the AVSIM file library is not doing quite as well. ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.
