I think they're trying to avoid paying royalties for using any real life models. It's probably just a compromise until they can count on the sim paying for itself.

I doubt that very much, their aircrafts all have the real name.

There is a setting for this, don't know exactly where. Something with realistic AI traffic?

Can't belive somebody used this aircraft - it looks so ugly and unreal i would never touch that plane, sorry but just my opinion.
