April 4, 20215 yr If you ignore this guys cringe worthy presentation, this is one impressive EVTOL. If you watch right to the end it takes off and appears to be VERY quiet. Edited April 4, 20215 yr by martin-w
April 5, 20215 yr Aaaaand, scene! That's a wrap people, nailed it! 🤣 Aaah, the good old, 'CEO insists on doing the promotional video despite having all the camera presence of a telegraph pole'. The bizarre thing is, they've clearly done a storyboard and have a half decent art director, as evidenced by the timing of the script and the off camera direction to crank the chopper and lift off as he reaches a certain point in the dialogue. Chopper itself looks good and is obviously very quiet, so it's quite an achievement to make a p***-poor video with something that cool, but man someone needed to tell that guy to either loosen up, or let someone else do the presentation. It's almost like a training video on how not to present to camera. The edit to the other camera where he's continuing talking to camera one with that s***-eating grin, whilst being shot from the other angle is hilarious. I watched a lot of times, just for the laughs. You just know that guy drives past shop windows and checks his reflection out whilst thinking 'man, I look great'. Does seem quiet. Me thinks it was probably a long focal length lens so flattened perspective though, as in, aircraft further away than it looked. But yes, EVTOL's are quieter than piston power. 3 hours ago, Chock said: Chopper itself looks good and is obviously very quiet Its not a chopper Alan. The props tilt forward for forward flight.
