April 4, 20215 yr Hi When I watch videos from some of the top flight simmers (for example Chewwy94) , they make it look so easy moving around inside the cockpit and I wondered how they do it. For example, they may be looking at the MCP but then look up at the Overhead panel and then back down to the MCP. All this is done in one smooth movement. I have chase plane views set up but it means cycling through each one to get back to where I was which is obviously not what these guys are doing. I also have TrackIR but I am struggling with it as I always seem to have to tilt and twist my head to get the overhead panel and others relatively straight so I can view them properly. Are these guys using TrackIR? (if so, this might indicate that mine isn't set up right) or is there like a free-roam View that I haven't discovered? Apologies if this is a dumb question but I'd like to be able to do what these guys are doing rather than keep cycling through several chase plane views to get back where I was.
April 4, 20215 yr In ChasePlane, right click the preset you want to be able to jump to, then hit assign button or key, depending on if you want to use your joystick or keyboard.
April 5, 20215 yr A lot of streamers also use a streamdeck, basically a button box with different views mapped to buttons. Makes it easy to jump from view to view.
April 5, 20215 yr I believe he uses Chaseplane like so many of us do. It is an excellent program.
