April 9, 20215 yr So you all know what happens... you're sitting there in your cockpit and you begin to zoom in and out while you do your thing, only to wonder after a short while "hmm, I wonder if my zoom level is wrong now?". Well, back in FSX, there is a digital readout available for your FOV so that you can't lose track of it. But, alas, there seems to be no such digital readout for zoom level (nor fov) in MSFS2020. The only way to get back to your preferred zoom level is to hit the cockpit view reset button, which is just going to place you back into your default pilot view with default zoom level as you've set in the camera menu. Since it would be nice to zoom in and out, without the need to always reset back to the pilot view, and always know what the current zoom level is at for our current view I am wondering if there is any sort of addon/mod that adds this functionality back into the sim as of yet? *It would be nice if FSUIPC would offer such a function. April 11, 20215 yr Author Yea... it's just so clear that with such an abundance of missing features, this time around, it appears unlikely that there were any real world pilots (or even experienced armchair pilots) on the development team. I won't go into it in this particular thread, but there are so many missing features (important ones) that we USED to have, and don't anymore. There's no way they'd be missing if they had some experienced sim pilots and real world on the team. Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
