April 10, 20215 yr In a similar fashion like Switzerland there is now a highly detailed open source dataset available for all the buildings in The Netherlands. It is the result of a project of TU Delft, a big (aviation) technology university in the Netherlands. https://3dbag.nl/en/viewer LOD 2.2 as they call it even contains the info on sloped roofs for example. April 10, 20215 yr Prachtig! It would probably not be too hard to convert one of their data formats to 3d objects. Getting the textures right from all angles would be difficult, though. I could see them looking at best like slightly less melted photogrammetry. Which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Probably also capable of being much better optimized.
