is it possible to change back of a refunded professional version to the academic version of p3d v5?

You have 15 days after purchase to get a refund for any P3D version.

With the refunded money you can buy whatever version you like.

Did that change? I remember back then it had been two months to have time to refund, if I am not mistaken?!

2 months indeed. But that has changed to 15 days.

I don´t think it isn´t a good idea to discus license possibilities and refunds here at AVSIM. You should head over to LM and ask it over there and read your EULA!

Because you need a license which fits your needs! If the academic does that, we aren´t allowed to answer here. Go to LM and ask them. They are happy to answer this.
