January 4, 200719 yr I can't seem to get my base textures in FSX as clear and sharp as some of the screen-pics posted in other forums. Some questions:1. What is the minimum texture resolution used by FSX default textures? Is it worth setting slider below 1m?2. What are peoples settings for AA & filtering in order to obtain sharpest textures and what have people found works best - setting in graphics card or in FSX?3. I also get some shimmering of trees and taxi-lines. Any suggestions on which settings effect this? I have added a line in FSX.cfg "MipBias=4", which I had read in another forum, but it does not seem to effect things. Any suggestions.I am fully aware that system specs and graphic cards obviously effect the appearance of the sim, and in my case my specs are somewhat limiting at the moment:AMD ATHLON 2600+2 GBYTE RAMFX5900 XT graphics 128 RAMLook forward to suggestions,Cheers,Stuart
