April 28, 20215 yr I find my connections are disconnecting Martin, because I can't do the things I used to do...or even remember them. Even learning has deteriorated. I can't do the things (mental things) I could do when I was younger. I have a hard time learning new things. P3D has me snowed. I can use the program but I can't do new things with it unless it relates to what I used to do in the early days of FSX or the scenery design I did in FS9. In my last decade of my civilian working life I was a development engineer. I designed test equipment for the manufacturing floor using descrete parts mounted on a circuit board. Now everything is integrated and I have no understanding of them not do I have a desire to understand them. I said I have a hard time learning new things. That's partly because I have no desire to learn new things. Does this all mean than I am losing connections? I try to keep my mind active by playing card games on my computer and flying new routes on my flight simulator and adding new scenery and airplanes. And I do a lot reading. But that's about it. A lot of stuff in tis thread I not only don't understand, but have no desire to understand. It's too much of a mental chore to try and learn. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
