That really was intended to be funny. I hope you aren't offended. Crucial's opinion really doesn't sway mine. It's not a big deal. I think we can agree that directed airflow is the correct answer. Whether it's a chemical in a can, or a steady flow from a motor. Both work. Indoors or out, also no correct answer. I prefer out. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

April 29, 20215 yr Kudos, sir. I've only got 3 more years until my 4th decade. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

April 30, 20215 yr Author I am very lazy😁. I built my pc in 2012 and have never dissembled it completely for cleaning. The chassis is silverstone FT01 , which uses a positive pressure gradient design i.e. the air pressure inside is larger than that outside . It is supposed to prevent dust from building up inside the chassis. I only vacuum the inside once 2 or 3 years and clean the air filter yearly. I did replace the thermal compound for the CPU once.
