April 28, 20215 yr Apologies if this is a well known issue and I've somehow missed it, but I'm finding some graphics settings are not saving and are having to be reset on each sim start. Namely, vsync, depth of field, bloom and lens flare are not saving. Once reset to what I want, I hit apply and save and they remain like that for the duration, however when I relaunch the sim, they have reverted to the opposite setting. Not a big deal, but it is annoying and I just wanted to know if others have this problem also. Thanks. Murray Dreyer
April 28, 20215 yr Commercial Member This may not be of help in your case, but, did you by chance make the user.cfg file "read only"? I did so for trying to address the grainy looking cloud issue and then found out that this was the cause of my graphic settings not being saved. That's exactly what I'd done and had completely forgot about. Thanks for your help. Murray Dreyer
April 28, 20215 yr Can you guys tell me the location of that file? Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
April 28, 20215 yr Commercial Member This the video I reviewed for the cloud fix, but it will walk you through where the file is located. 6 hours ago, fakeflyer737 said: Can you guys tell me the location of that file? April 28, 20215 yr I wish MSFS saved your settings in the map filter. It's quite annoying to have to re-enable these every time.
