May 1, 20215 yr DCS is at its best right now. The new clouds, modules like the A10-C II, F18, F16, the new Syria map plus dynamic campaign add-ons such as DCS Liberation really make this simulator shine. May 1, 20215 yr Great shots! I’m feeling the urge to get back into flying a bit of DCS...just need to focus on learning one aircraft instead of jumping around. Unfortunately my attention span doesn’t always support that approach! My brain just doesn’t seem to jive with learning complex military addons, though I can fly the most complex civilian airliners without referring to a checklist. But, YouTube has been showing me a lot of A-10 brrrrt videos lately so perhaps I’lll jump into a few A-10C training missions and try to create some ground shrapnel 🙂 Edited May 1, 20215 yr by regis9 Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

It is the best module imho and all the others will be much easier to learn thereafter! Highly recommend getting the II version. It is relatively cheap and there are some nice additions to it. And you are right....civilian aircraft are much user friendly when compared with some of the DCS jets. I think that is by design... 😄 Edited May 1, 20215 yr by GCBraun PC1: AMD Ryzen 9800X3D | Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID | Asus TUF X670E-Plus | G.SKILL 64GB DDR5 PC 6000 CL30 | 4TB NVMe | Noctua NH-D15 | Asus TUF 1000W Gold | be quiet! The Huey is fun too and good for exploring. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
May 1, 20215 yr Thanks! I did end up buying the upgrade for the A-10C back when it was released as it was a cheap upgrade, time to get back into it. Huey is definitely good fun too, even just flying around in it is a fun challenge.
