May 23, 20215 yr As the title says, I have just installed the P3D Client 5.1.12.26829 containing the Hotfix 1. However I still have a couple of graphic problems which I was hoping would have been fixed. Using ORBX openLC Europe and EU England most of the trees have a white line (halo effect) appearing where the tree meets the sky, also the cockpits of all A2A and PMDG aircraft are very dark. I have heard 5.2 is hopefully around the corner but no guarantee these problems will be fixed. As for me these glitches are spoiling my experience in P3D 5.1, I am thinking of reverting back to v4.5. Is there a fix for these problems or any reason not to go back to v4.5, I didn't have any performance problems with 4.5 and the graphics were fine. Glen
May 23, 20215 yr The fix for the halo issue is to turn off EA. I generally just turn the dome light on "dim" to solve the dark cockpit issue in daytime...a more elegant solution is to use FSLabs' Spotlights program. I have no problem at all with the cockpit on PMDG QOTSII. I just set my cockpit lighting accordingly. Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor. Win 10 Home. 500g Samsung 960 as Windows home. 1 Gb Mushkin SSD for P3D. GTX 1080 8gb.
