New Fukuoka Airport release

Featured Replies

I just bumped into this:

https://secure.simmarket.com/snj-sim-fukuoka-international-airport-p3d-v4-5.phtml

I already bought it but havent installed it yet. Honestly it looks too good to be true. 9 Euro, for what appears to be a beautiful rendition of a major airport in Japan for which a scenery has not been released since the Aerosim one a long, long time ago. Fukuoka is up there in the top of the list of busiest airports of Japan, with a smattering of big and small jets from domestic and high profile international destinations, comfortably positioned in the very south of the country for quick hops to Seoul, Shanghai and Taipei - but also Tokyo and Osaka to the north. Been wanting this one for a long time... The only minus point I can see is the lack of SODE jetways, but I believe there is a GSX2 ini file included. No sure if the textures are PBR, but doesn't look like it. The supported sims are P3Dv4 and v5.

If anybody installs it before me, I'm looking forward to your impressions!

I just bought it thinking the developer would raise the price once he realizes he didn't charge enough. The airport looks great, crisp textures, no shimmering, nice signage. This is a steal for $10. Only downfall is you have to manually install since no installer. Also, I can't figure out how to set up the GSX jetways but I likely missed a step in the instructions. All in all, to me this is a bargain for the asking price.

For that price, it's just instantly purchase!

Much better than the old one darged from FSX

I've just picked it up, simply looks too good to leave at that price level.

Will be a nice addition to my Asian route network, and a Taipei-Fukuoka rotation will be perfect for when Just Flight finally bring out their A300B4-200

Edit: Just booted into the Sim to take a quick look and I'm quite astonished this is only 11 Euros

Same here, the actual airport in P3d looks much better than the screenshots do. It seems they under-promised and over-delivered.
