WT 3000 weather radar?

Featured Replies

Am I alone in not getting the weather radar to work with WT 3000 mod (ver. 0.7.1) after yesterday's patch, I have tried it in both TBM and Longitude?

System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I

I know this is probably an obvious sounding question:

Did it actually rain in your vicininty when you used it?

Because if it didn't you shouldn't get any returns on the radar, since they fixed it to work like the real thing now.

Put a rainy weather and don't forget to activate completly the radar on the G3000.

For me it work, the image is a little bit strange (I don't know if it normal)  but it seems to work

Yes.

Next question. Did you delete the G3000 folder, before copying the update? Overwriting existing mods is known to be randomly problematic. Always best to delete the folder and then copy over the updated package

Yes I did, I will try with TBM next flight to see if it is related to the Longitude.

Weird. The only other thing I do after big updates is delete content.xml and let it rebuild a fresh database. It's cured a lot of headache.. It's not something I wish I had to randomly do but it is what it is. Good luck and let us know if you solve your issue

For OCD sakes, I tried the WT3000 in the Longitude. Works perfect

All of a sudden it started working again, maybe there was a server problem 👍
