3080 ti vs 3090 in FS2020, any comparison available?

Featured Replies

I think only 12GB in the new 3080 ti is much poor in FS2020 and in VR?, I have a 2080 ti 11GB and always the card is maxed out in VRAM and VR, I think the start point would be maybe 18GB of VRAM. I remember reading some 3090 user with approx. 17GB of VRAM used in FS2020, and less than that probably is a stutter fountain, at least I think I watch that in the 2080 ti, when reach the max about 10.5 VRAM.

My 3090 uses up to around 15-18 GB vram in VR in msfs.

Not every laptop will supply a Display Port 1.3/1.4 which is needed for Reverb G2. Some laptops do not have HDMI which is required fr some VR HMDs. Finally, USB 3.1 might be required. Then, does it have enough USB ports for HOTAS joysticks, etc... Get a laptop with 1Gbit WIFI performance if you want Quest 2 wireless.

You might need a cooling fan laptop pad - it will definitely get hot during VR

Make sure you do a little research.
