June 29, 20214 yr As our company's SOP(on 737, but similar cross all fleet), after both engine was stable, we will call off disconnect and hand signal, then after that, we can start the before taxi(or after start) procedure. After that, then we will call for ATC for taxi clearance, after then, it's finally the time to check the pin and wave off ground crews. But currently in UGCX, ground crwe only wave it's pin for like 20 seconds, when I finally finished my procedure and look out side, they are long gone.... Could it be set longer? or better like wait until we set parking brakes off before they head back to ramp? as our procedure they must wait until the aircraft have smoothly taxi out before they can head back to ramp.
