P3dv5.2 slow start

Featured Replies

I’ve been waiting over fifteen minutes now for P3Dv5.2 to start. Seems worse after last update. Getting ridiculous. I wonder if unchecking sceneries in the scenery library and only check the ones I plan on using like we did in old fsx days would help this issue. Took almost twenty minutes for the sim to start .

Unchecking scenery won't fix or solve that, that's snake oil more than anything. When you updated to HF1, did you follow LM's instructions and delete the Generated Files? If not, be sure to have a backup of your scenery.cfg before doing so.

Affirmative on the deleting generated files. I just restarted my computer to time and it took 24 minutes for my sim to start. This after the update.

How many xml files do you have for addon’s?

About 48 that I count right off, probably more but no more then before the update.
