Hy guys 

i had mfsf since december 2020  never had a problem 

been away on a airplane contract for 6 weeks 

on return started to play and had 3 freeze while playing 

yesterday mfsf wont event start . I got it true steam  never had a glicht .but last update went 4 times in a row before it works .

now i wonder do i have to reinstall  or did it happen to somebody else

Have you cleared your community folder of any addon you might have ?

There are posts in this forum with instructions how to delete certain registry entries, you can search for these. I also had an issue after last update that was sudden.

As Dominique_K suggested, empty your Community folder and try to start.  If you have been away there have been updates and some mods from before the updates could cause issues now.

Have you tried logging out and then back in to your accounts?  I would also do that before digging into the registry or reinstalling.  There is also a MSFS Reset option that takes a lot of time but does not eliminate most of your previous settings.

Problem solved 

my step son use alviva sonic sound  witch created a confict  just did a flight no more  freeze  

found the solution in zendesk help 

 

I had a problem with MSFS not starting, I would click on the app, dark screen then crash to desktop, this was after no problems with it since launch, it turned out to be Asus Sonic 2 stopping the sim from starting, deleted Sonic 2 all fine now.
