FS2Crew-Window positions an size

Featured Replies

Hello, i would like to edit the standard position and standard window-size for FS2Crew when i Open the app.

So i have an ultra-widescreen, and FS2Crew open the window over half the screen size, so i must always make this windwow smaller.
Also the position from the FS2Crew-window should be in te left upper corner, i always have to move the FS2Crew window to this position.
hope there is a way to edit this, so this things could be automatic when open FS2Crew.
thanks,

thomas

hello, thanks for Reply, in my PMDG planes your description did work.
But how to in the "Leonardo Maddog" for P3DV5?
in the Panel.cfg for the Maddog i cannot see an Entry for "FS2Crew"
the Problem here is the same. Your FS2Crew panel opens with percentage from the monitor.
in an ultra wide monitor the window opens over more then the half wide from the screen.
there also must a entry to change this options.

Maddog uses the same system as PMDG.

FS2Crew entries are added to it's panel.cfg files.

Please search for the Maddog panel.cfg files.  FS2Crew entries are definitely on them (or FS2Crew would never load).

You're probably just not looking at the right panel.cfg files.

Cheers,

There are none other Aircraft files for the Maddog.  Also i have the Problem: FS2Cew is NOT working in any Maddog.
have updated to Version 2b802 now. so FS2Crew will not work since update

Please look in your "Documents" folder on your computer.

If memory serves correct, that's where they'll be... they'll be in the one of the Maddog sub-folders in there.

You could also do a file search on your computer using the term "panel.cfg".

i have open Addonmanager as Admin, disabled FS2Crew. Closed Addonmanager.
Have open Addonmanager as Admin, enabled FS2Crew. Closed the Addonmanager.
It did nothing in the three panel.cfg Files.
The Maddog works in P3Dv5.2HF1, but FS2crew not.
I have to entry the "FS2CrewMadDog" -entries manualy into the panel.cfg like in the PMDG.
I did not know, why FS2Crew-Installer and Maddog Addonmanager will not do this.
so now the main panel opens. but click to CFG did open a black window,
i can not set any options...

Maddog-FS2Crew-fails..jpg
so i think i need your support to get this run like it should in P3Dv5.2HF1
would like to send you a ticket, but your website is closed.
i have also send a ticket to leonardo. maybe there is something wrong with the latest Maddog in 5.2 Addonmanager.
before Update it still works...

In the Maddog version, Maddog themselves handle the FS2Crew panel.cfg file entries, not us.

Maybe Maddog made a mistake in their latest update.

Can you please post the contents of your panel.cfg here.

It could just be that a Window number is out of sequence in the panel.cfg.

Hello, after again  de- and install from Maddog and FS2Crew its runnig now!
What i have done now - different to the not working install:

the manual of the Maddog says to restore the config after an update by loading the previously saved configuration back into the addon manager.
I skipped this step, left the Maddog settings on "Default", started the simulator, closed it again.
After that I installed FS2Crew 2.1, again-  after that the activation from FS2Crew in the addon manager was automatically set,
and FS2Crew works now.
Apparently it is not always correct to restore the previously saved settings even if it says so in a manual.
Now that it works again, thank you for your time!
Greetings from Austria, Thomas
