Cessna 182 Autopilot Buttons do not light up

Featured Replies

I am using Prep3dv4 along with FSUIPC and have the A2A Cessna 182 in my fleet.

When flying the aircraft and operating the Autopilot Buttons they do not light up.

The button works correctly i.e. the heading button goes in and out when clicked and

the heading mode comes in ok but the button does not light up.

Does anyone else have the same problem or know how to make them light up?.

Do you mean the Radio Stack lighting ?

P3D 4.5.14, Orbx Global, Vector and more, lotsa planes too.

The buttons does not light up when you press them on my system. You have to read the display to see what mode is active. As above they only light up when you turn on the radio stack lights.

Many thanks for the replies

the reason I ask the question is, I am currently profiling my Saitek Multi Panel following a video on youtube.

In the video the guy clicks the heading button (in the simulation) and the button lights up, when he clicks the NAV

button it lights up and the Heading button goes out, which is, of course what it should do.

It is no problem making the buttons on my Saitek Panel light up as described but no lights come on in the simulation.

I'll try and contact him when I work out how to leave a comment on youtube.

Thanks

Was he in the A2A 182?  Was he in P3D (vs FSX or XP?  And if in P3D what version?

Yes sorry I should have explained better. Not sure if he's in FSX or Prep3d.

I have The A2A Cessna 182 in Prep3dv4 with FSUIPC.
