I agree. Does anyone know how far PMDG is?

When I try and run this one of two things happens. Either the ATC menu pulls up but will not work, or midway through preflight I will lose all ATC communications. All other sounds are present, and the ATC menu is present just nonfunctional. Appreciate any help in the matter.John Bartle

I just bought it and tried it out. My opinion: avoid at all costs. However, if you can get it for free and manage to get it to work, by all means go for it. But it is definitely not something to pay for. I'm kicking myself for spending $40 on it. I guess I'm too spoiled by the PMDG 747 and Level-D 767. Compared to these two, the Sky Simulations MD-11 is an absolute joke. Now I'm REALLY looking forward to the PMDG MD-11, even moreso than before.

avoid at all costs? cmon we arent talking about "perfect flight" quality or anything. this is a good quality light package, even more features than a cls airplane, for a few dollars more. The model is really beautiful, there are a handful of cool features, and im glad they paid attention to freight dawgs such as myself.that avoid at all costs is a little harsh
