CH Pro Rudder Pedals

Featured Replies

After many years I finally replaced my CH Pro pedals. I went for the Thrustmaster TPR Pedals. Very expensive ($500 range?) but wow, so nice. I don't care about yokes (am a pilot IRL) a good stick is just fine but pedals that feel right...so nice. The yoke thing, really fun rides have sticks. Really complex big birds, doesn't matter it's a big bus. As a training tool, flying isn't hard it's the mental work that needs practice. A yoke is of little value. That said, personal preference get what you like.

What do you think of it bet is pretty nice

Really well made, good solid all metal construction including the handle itself nice strong tension and the 90 degree each way aileron and 8" elevator travel feel a lot more like the Cessna/Pipers I used to fly than anything else I have used.

I replaced my CH Pro rudders when MSFS came out, since the pots were worn and I wanted to step up to something more precise.
I finally decided on the MFG Crosswind pedals, but the thrustmaster TPR was a close 2nd. They are boh a huge upgrade from the CH pro pedals, but the MFG were priced better. Both use Hall sensors which last a lifetime instead of pots.

My CH Yoke got replaced by Fulcrum yoke when it came available. It's a great yoke, feels very authentic and smooth, even when flying with just the left hand on the yoke.
The springs are quite sturdy when you need to use the full range of the yoke, I think it imitates the real forces quite well. It has teached me to trim a lot, especially when flying the JF Arrow.

Good review, his comments on the Fulcrum fit my experience of it.

The only downside of Fulcrum is they are popular so there is a fair wait between order and delivery.
