I owned a Cessna pro and it was very high quality feeling - its ball bearing and 180 degree roll I saw a youtube video and he compared Honeycomb to Cessna pro Honeycomb was a bit better The Cessna pro has a longer shaft than the current Saitek yokes and they didnt make a bunch of them - took me some digging to find one under 400$ - I hope it shows up 🙂 got it for 200$ a steal for the quality it holds its own after all these years Not a fan of the soft material / plastic on Honeycomb huge dust and finger print collector thats going to be an issue eventually - Saitek looks same years later as the day you bought it Some posts on that video others were not happy with pitch and favored the Cessna Pro also I almost bought one and thought about it more and ran across the Saitek Cessna Pro yoke which I forgot about Side sticks and I dont get along to many years using a yoke - I am thinking about the Velocityone but good luck getting one for another year im all set with that - especially with XBOX launch - well see I like toys Do your homework on YT on Honeycomb mixed reviews for sure - not saying its bad just not worth the scalper money Edited July 27, 20214 yr by Richard Sennett Rich Sennett

They take up too much space on my desktop, the pots eventually get noisey and drift, they get sticky spots mechanically, and lose their smoothness. Give me a hall effect joystick, and calibrate it once and you are done forever. Yokes, too much money for too much hassle. Edited July 27, 20214 yr by Bobsk8

I threw my ch yoke out not too long ago, not because I didn’t enjoy it but because like my pedals it was at least 15 years old and was not performing anymore, I’m using a cheap joystick for now while trying to decide whether to go back to a yoke or stick with a new joystick. I’ve been trying to decide for the last month! Agree a yoke takes a lot of room but is more realistic for the types I fly in the sim, but a joystick can be put aside easily. Ahhh decisions! Yah Bob I know what you mean that new Airbus sidestick is amazing but I need to hands one for flying and one for throttle and just cant get my head around flying with my left hand I use a spaceball for 3d modeling in my left hand in day job but sidestick and using the hat in left hand is to awkward for me Weird I play guitar and a drummer so not sure whats up with that 🙂 Rich Sennett

July 27, 20214 yr If you must use a yoke save the cash for a Fulcrum, it has more aileron movement then a Yoko and more elevator movement and better quality than the Honeycomb and is priced sort of half way between the two. Great bit of kit. As for CH PRO Pedals: never ever ever calibrate them in Win10 it messes them up, if you have calibrated them go back into Win10 USB controller settings and reset them to default the most common physical issue with them is the thin toe brake wires often snap, you need to pull them apart and resolder/heatshrink these if the toe brakes fail they use pots instead of hall sensors but a spray of contact cleaner will usually fix any issues they are designed to double as car race pedals and have weak springs, sit too flat and have a strong centre detent that is annoying when flying and really bad in a helicopter, if you have a weekend spare it is possible to mod them to remove the centre detent with a dremel, replace the springs with stronger ones and tilt the back of the pedals up so the whole assembly sits less flat - but it is a lot of work Edited July 27, 20214 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick

July 27, 20214 yr Ive never owned a yoke or pedals so really look forward to what you guys have to say about possible options, and perhaps any snippets about what's coming that most of us mere mortals don't know about. I was nearly in the market a few months ago when I finally got fed up the glad wrap around my Hotas stick and throttle to stop getting covered in all the damned stickly rubberised material. But I stripped the rubberizing off with Isopropol Alcohol and its like brand new plastic underneath, so they got a new lease of life. But the Hotas of course is made for fighter jocks so I'm always flying as a copilot when I fly the bus!! But the Hotas is is pretty good for the Flying Iron Spitfire though 🙂 so they will always have a place. But a yoke and pedals (do they have to be the same brand?) is where I want to go. Don't want to hijack the thread and cant offer the OP any advice since he's way ahead of me but if he needs a new yoke and pedal setup to replace his 10 year old one then myself and I'm sure a few others would be just as interested in the advise you guys might give 🙂 Terry Edited July 27, 20214 yr by Lord Farringdon No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Terry No you can use different Yoke with different pedals Pedals wise these are excellent (logitech PRO Flight Rudder Pedals) and better than Thrustmaster - changing the the tension alone makes it better than Thrustmaster - you will want to change tension - you cant in Thrusmaster pedals as for Yoke depends on what you want to spend really https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-PRO-Flight-Rudder-Pedals/dp/B01LYPMTPT/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=rudder+pedals&qid=1627350626&sr=8-3 Edited July 27, 20214 yr by Richard Sennett Rich Sennett

They do not have a warehouse full of the things. The "preorder" basically mean you order one and as soon as they get the next batch of parts in (Brexit and Covid allowing) they make up the next batch and ship them out to the next lot of people on the list. Ask here about expected wait time ... https://www.avsim.com/forums/forum/882-fulcrum-simulator-controls/
July 27, 20214 yr Mine went for about ten years and one of the potentiometers went out and could no longer be adjusted, Had to get new ones. There are some videos on youtube about tweaking the pots on them. Jeff Callender
