CH Pro Rudder Pedals

Featured Replies

Hi,

About CH Pro Rudder Pedals and its calibration:

On the Y axis I can go from 0 to 255 but on the X axis I can only go from 157 to 255. Also the Y axis doesn't move at all but pedals are moving... It seems there could be something about cables inside. Two were damaged and now corrected.

Any solution?

How old are they? the podmeters get worn out over time, and I think the cables can become damaged as well.

I would recommend replacing them witn something of better quality if you can afford it.

Mine are more then 10 years old as well and I can for sure feel and see them getting tired, they just don’t feel like they once did, I’m planning on some new ones soon…Just giving you my experience on the same pedals with probably pretty close to the same age (pedals that is).

Maybe I will get the Airbus sidestick from thrustmaster.

If your ok with using the twist handle for rudders then that’s definitely an option.

I too am using the CH pedals for more than ten years, and to my surprise, they are still close to perfect. These have been rock solid and couldn’t be more pleased. What are you guys considering replacing them with?

have old ones also and they work fine, albeit not remotely precise for ground/taxi

I’m not overly sure yet, I don’t have a huge budget available for pedals so would have to shop around, I’d even go with another set of CH pedals as like you said, they treated me very well also..Or maybe some saiteks (I know saitek isn’t that great but it’s within my pedal budget)

Or maybe try cleaning them out? I think I will try that before spending money, might pull out the air compressor this weekend.

Two cables were cut and I replaced parte of them. Rudder works but left brake is not working well...

I just got one its great very precise compared to my old Saitek yoke but is kind of light it will need to be velcro down or bolted down other than that I was impressed and not much money - now the throttle I luv wont give that up - I have a rare Saitek Cessna Pro refurbished yoke on the way - those are awesome (never should have sold mine) if you can find one they are very expensive

Checked out reviews on Honeycomb and I wasnt impressed for the money

Interesting, all I ever hear is praise for the honeycomb equipment. Was going to get their yoke but it’s not cheap.
