Paris looks like there was a war....

When the BeNeLux world update was released you could add a lot of melted buildings on the official startup screenshot from Paris…

Those are not photogrammetry, they are autogen buildings with some bespoke modelled landmarks. Either you don't have the World Update installed for it or you have photogrammetry disabled.

Sorry, Skyliu but I have Photogrammetry enabled and the sim is fully updated.

Photogrammetry

I tested a bit and am really confused now.

1) I flew over Hamburg, and parts of the city are "photorammed" and other areas are autogen. When I compare the parts to the satellite-pictures of bing-maps, I can´t see a difference between the two areas.

2) I flew over "Stade" (near Hamburg), and there are no photogrammed buildings at all,

Does anybody know how the Sim decides where it uses photogrammetry and where autogen? It seems that even with phogotrammetry enabled it doesn´t use it everywhere it would be possible. And when I look to the pictures of Seven7, it seems that it also differs from user to user!?

@Seven7 Now I look again I think I can see some photogrammetry in one of your images but it is in the far distance. Not sure why that is, could just be the limited coverage, but most of your screenshots have no photogrammetry, see below where I've approximated the border between the two different scenery types and highlighted some of the "melted" buildings in yellow:

@SkyFlyerGermany The sim doesn't decide, it will use photogrammetry anywhere data has been provided by Asobo. IMPORTANT: not all photogrammetry comes from Bing, MFS use other sources too as I mentioned before, especially outwith the United States. For example, London is not photogrammetric on Bing, but it is in MFS as they obtained the data from a third party.

Hm, so there seems something is baulked with my MFS, too, perhaps...I will doublecheck with my neighbour how it looks on his system, when I find the time. If it looks different there, I think I will have to reinstall the Sim.

By the way: Does anybody know if

1) The achievements (landing challanges, adventure flights, etc.) are saved in the Userprofile and are again there after a re-install? Or do I have to everything again?

2) Does anybody know how to save the control-assignments so that I don´t have to assign everything new?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, they are saved with your profile. I've reloaded a couple of times and it has always shown the progress
