Flight plans are created in Simbrief and imported into both P2A and FS2020. 1) After filing the plan in P2A I export it for importing into FS2020. The export is in pln format but the import into fs2020, once you’re in the sim, will only allow FLT formats. 2) once I do get the P2A FP into fs2020 I don’t see the same stars and CID’s. It like P2A is using a different database. 

You have to update both P2A and MSFS to the same AIRAC cycle using Navigraph.

You have to import from World Map, this allows .pln and .flt. Once you are in cockpit you can only load .flt.

I don't understand why you are importing a flight plan into fs20 twice?
