I have installed Pushback Express V2.2, but the pushback function is not working.  I am using voice control.  I can talk with the ground controller, but when I request pushback, I get the response "Release Parking Brakes" as expected, and I comply and reply that I have done so.  I then get the ground controller saying "Pushing Back" but nothing happens.  The tug never even connects to the aircraft.

What's going wrong here please?

1. Uninstall Pushback Express.

2. Re-install Pushback Express 2.2.

3. Restart your computer (re-starting the computer solved one user's odd problems).

4. Try again.

5. If you're using the CRJ, ensure the chocks are out as well.

 

Figured the issue.  I was using voice commands like I did in UGCX, where the command "We will be ready shortly" was optional, so I wasn't saying that, and the tug wasn't connecting.

Yes, you need to use Pushback Express voice commands, not UGCX voice commands.

Press the "ASSIST" button in PBE.

It will tell you what you can say.

It makes it very easy. You don't need to memorize anything.
