Flight planning and FMC

Featured Replies

I am aware about how to set a flight plan from the MSFS World Map, complete with fixes, Sids, Stars, etc.- But I noticed that that active plan aims only to have ATC support, it doesnt show at the MFD Map/Plan instrument screen, and doesnt replicate at the FMS.-

At least that is my experience with Boeing 747 and 777.-

Is there a way to export it to the aircraft FMS  ?

Thanks

SimBrief. SimBrief to MSFS to aircraft.

Hi;

You can use Salty 747 Mod (dev version for compatibility with CS777)  for B747 only  :  https://github.com/saltysimulations/salty-747

and for CS777, the  Compatibility Mod together with above Salty dev Mod :  https://flightsim.to/file/16621/captainsim-777-300er-and-777-200er-salty-compatibility-mod

Thern go to;    FMC > Salty > Misc > FP SYNC > ON    and  then; main menu and reselect the flight plan and load the flight.

Or; you can direcctly connect Simbrief, as well. (ıf you do not want world map flight plan, change FP Sync to OFF)

Happy Flying.

Thanks KT069

I select the B747 with the last Salty mod, but at: FMC > Salty > Misc, there is no FP SYNC  option

There should be, as I am using that.

See the picture. This is default Asobo 748 with Salty dev Mod.

I had installed the Salty B747  V4.00 mode, didnt realize that there is a dev mode, which I installed, and now the FP SYNC on/off appears.

Which is the difference between both mods  ?

I read that the dev mode can be ununstable

Thanks

Piling on, is there any documentation on the Salty mod anywhere?  Just flew .4 for first time today and I enjoyed it, but admittedly struggled with the FMC and AP ended up flying LFMN to LIRQ (MISTAKE!) with a reroute to LIRF nearly all by hand.  That bird is so easy to STAY behind it is very challenging to manage coming from the A320.

I will have to try this again. Last I tried the 747 and 777 with a sim brief FP, salty mod was not loading all the waypoints. Just the first waypoint than direct to the arrival airport...
