Timer Skip attaching to keyboard key

Featured Replies

hi,

I just want to ask if it would be technically possible to attach the timer button to a keyboard key.
the only reason for me to open the panel is to skip forward (most of the time I skip because 15-20 Minutes are enough for me for pre preparation). it is a little bit of a immersion breaker
to open the panel, skip, do my stuff, open it again skip. and so on.

thanks

Hmmm... it's possible, but we're trying not to go overboard with hotkey assignments. Hotkeys can be a minefield as you know.

I'll consider it.

Are you using voice or button control?  A voice command would be easy to add, but it would be strange saying "fast forward time" or something like that.

I use voice control. I thought of this too with voice command. and I think it would be strange saying things like fast forward time.
I also thought about if it would be possible connecting A32NX and PBE timer together so you don't have to fast forward time twice
But what about if we could choose between a "real" and "faster" timer. 30 Minutes and let's say 15 Minutes.

So like make the countdown speed go 2X.

I can do that via a config option... but the FO flows will still run at their normal speed.

I like that idea, I find I am always moving the counter down faster.
