September 2, 20214 yr Well, I think I installed it, but how can I tell? I extracted the -wo version into the Community folder, fired it up but have no idea if the mod was applied. I was hoping to see an operating Checklist, but alas when I hit the button to get to it just says Inop as it did prior to the installed most recent mod file from github. I swear one of the videos I viewed about the 787 showed the checklist operating AND also one could click on items in the CL and the appropriate buttons would light up related to that CL action. Configure that page and you are good to go... If you are luckier than me! Bernard CPU = 12900K / GPU = Nvidia 3090 VRAM 24 GB / RAM = 64 GB / SSD = 2 TB 980 PRO PCle 4.0 NVMe™ M.2,
September 4, 20214 yr Very good! I did get the HD mod installed. Actually, I'm finding the unmodded version is better right now and I am guessing that is because of some incompatibilities in the latest HD update w/ SU5--I see it was release a week or two before SU5 was. The only perplexing issue now is it's very hard to ground steer and in particular getting the beast moving--I have to put the engines to full on before it moves, then all's ok w/ taxi. A major piece missing in the mod is that there was no moving map. All that was working fine before SU5, the B787 MOD was a very good add-on but many systems were broken in that last update unfortunately. Watch for the next update and you won't be disappointed (I mean the Heavy one...). Bernard CPU = 12900K / GPU = Nvidia 3090 VRAM 24 GB / RAM = 64 GB / SSD = 2 TB 980 PRO PCle 4.0 NVMe™ M.2,
September 4, 20214 yr Ok thanks I imagine it may come pretty soon! It's really not a bad plane overall, especially for the price 🐵 I am mostly missing FSCaptain in P3D. W/O that, I would have never used P3D after MSFS arrived but alas they are awaiting more LVARS to become accessible thru the SDK. I hope it gets there it really adds a lot of meaning to flying the big birds: you create/choose your own airline & career, advancing your pay scale as you complete flights all of which are scored on many features of piloting. September 4, 20214 yr That sounds great, but I may be too old to start a new career, mine is behind me by a considerable number of years!... Bernard CPU = 12900K / GPU = Nvidia 3090 VRAM 24 GB / RAM = 64 GB / SSD = 2 TB 980 PRO PCle 4.0 NVMe™ M.2,
