September 1, 20214 yr Sorry I did not take more screenshot, I was simply focusing on the Champain mission. C&D start at 1am Cat 3 launch From now on it was for me, very hard, but great learning. Mission to find cruiser ships, Use Air to Sea Radar and FLIR, find the ones that the bad guys were using for mine laying. So 80% of them were friendy. Target them, take photos for the base to look at, then they confirm and then send me in again to Shot! (Sink) .....I love MAV's Then I needed to do a Air-Air refuel in the midle of the night....never done that before. only to find the tanker is on a constant turn/circuit. So very much a first time for me, luckly it went really well. As if this is not hard to do in day light...let alone night.... OK, time to RTB.... O....its CAT III, never done that before but did spend an hour reading up on it. That was not so hard.. but thrilling to do at night...It's as black as can be in DCS over the sea in the middle of the night, no light at all, as you can see from the refuel, Its just BLACK 🙂 I think I need a lie down..... Boys loved shooting down bogies though! DCS 2.7 is like a new sim, it looks great. I ran it on 4790 and a 1070, perfectly fine Ryan. The F-16 is very much land based and in lots of way (Falcon 4) is by Fav Aircraft. Its very "easy" to learn. I say that but unlike MSFS all aircraft have a huge learning curve. The F-16 is great in Air to Air and i also love landing it as its hard but great fun to do right. Also Ryan you can try any module for free for 14 day. What to try an F-18 on a super carrier CAS1 and CASIII? What to see how stunning the F-14 is? its all free for 14 days. What to try Air-to-Air refuel? Go for it.
