Steam updated the launcher, but now it is just eternally downloading the mandatory update. Keeps saying downloading then it finishes, decomps, then downloads again forever. Anyone else? Relaunched the game, same thing.

Update restarted the game a couple more times, now there is a 15.xxGB update. So not sure what that was about.

...and its the same. Downloaded all 15.61GB then restarts back at 0/15.61GB.

Still stuck on [1/7] downloading over and over again.

Same here, when I was already on 98%. Now it's a 15GB update. First time I have problems with an update.

Me too. Have had the game since launch and always been smooth sailing.

Yes it just kept looping. Closed it, deleted the FSPART files rebooted PC same thing. I stopped it a while ago, figure I will try later tonight.

If it still does the "looping", note the full file name of the file it is looping on. Head into your "official" folder and find the folder that the file belongs to. Delete that folder and all its contents (and any left over FSPART files). Restart MSFS. That should force it to download that entire folder instead of just patching it.

No guarantees though.

Yep, already tried it a couple times, no dice. I am assuming something is wrong on the server side at this point, as I am not alone, and on the Steam community others are having the issue as well.

You probably don't want to hear this, but I'm also using the Steam version, and did not have any issues with the update.

Sorry, but I don't know what else to say, except that as a complete last resort, you could try deleting the entire Official folder and let it download the entire thing again.

I finally managed to update. Had to delete the files in the Official folder (not the folders) then downloaded 15GB and it worked.

Just deleted them all again, relaunched game, now it says I need 3.15GB update. What is weird is that it says it is going to be 800KB/150GB available. Weird.

Same thing even now.

Just deleted about 30 ish folders from the Official folder that were updated today. Lets see now.
