More Static/AI Diversity?

Featured Replies

I’m only seeing a handful of aircraft on the ground at airports all over the world (and in the air). Is there a mod or trick to vastly increase the variety of other planes in the sim? To me this is one of the most unrealistic features I’ve seen so far in an otherwise amazing sim.

Thanks for any help!

One trick is download and install as many aircraft as you can even if they are awful freeware port overs you have no intention of flying. Installing them usually adds the aircraft and it's liveries to the list of available static aircraft.

There is an addon set over at flightsim.to that adds quiet an amount of static traffic to 60+ airports worldwide... not perfect and some issues with floating ac, but still better than those empty airports without...

This tutorial I tried ;

-Static ac shows up at the airports. Not much but good enough

-Live AC : they appear, pause for 10-20 sec, teleport and pause again. Then teleport, pause again etc.  No fluid movements.

This is what I'm seeing now that is really killing the immersion and is, in my opinion, one of the worst things about the sim. Look at this screenshot I just took from PANC, Anchorage's International Airport. How ridiculous does this look🤪

yes, its very sad. thats why we havent stope writing the same sentences every day since almost one year. Ai traffic is not well designed although it was sold in their slogans. I wrote to asobo asking help and just a little bit of interest, more than designing the LOWI airport for a hotfix.

even if there is the thought that most of people doesnt mind about it, we are a big minority, a very big one. ONce there is traffic: all people want it.

i hope asobo listen us. im not writing dramatically, Im writing asking for help to enjoy the good MSFS.

lets go!
