FlyByWire Installer - Update Error

Recommended Posts

I fired up the installer just now as I always do first thing and a update is available for the developer version which I normally run. Tried to install the update but it fails on a html_ui module error.

Has anyone else had this and know what the issue is ?

Same here.

It's a known issue with the CDN. One of the updated files failed to upload to the CDN, but the installer is getting the old file which fails the CRC check. Eventually, after several tries, the installer reverts everything back to where it was. At this point you can continue to use the mod until the issue is resolved at which point you will be able to update again using the installer.

Alternatively, there are links on their discord to manually install the latest version.

Note, this only affects the DEV version. Stable and Experimental are ok.

I had the same problem, but I fixed it by uninstalling the installer and downloading and installing the latest version of the installer from the FBW website FlyByWire Simulations

the respect and attention that FlyByWare developers have with their (free) product should be followed mainly by some paid developers.
