September 24, 20214 yr Not a biggie, but I cannot locate a switch for the Internal Night Lighting on the Carenado Seminole. I am using the keyboard "L" key to illuminate the Panel lights. I also notices the "NIGHT Dim / DAY switch next to the Radio master switch is "INOP" (I thought that was the Internal Light switch. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

September 24, 20214 yr Author Thanks Bob. I thought that was the O\H Light switch\knob only. So, now I know that controls the Panel lighting as well. BTW, my first full flight in the Seminole, a night landing into Naples (LIRN). What a joy to fly, I am officially a converted MSFS simmer as of now! Regards, Tom I love the way the Seminole flies, to me it feels like a real aircraft. There are also two knobs on the panel that control lighting under the pilots yoke.
September 25, 20214 yr Author Good to know, thanks for the tips! i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
September 25, 20214 yr Bob stop it, you will tempt me to get the Seminole. You say it feels like a real airplane, well, does it move and jostle you around in the right conditions? I can see myself in the Seminole, but I do not want an inertia-less, fly-on-rails plane. I suppose what I really want is A2A, but I can't have that right now. I suppose what I really want is A2A, but I can't have that right now. I have flown 5 or 6 aircraft in MSFS 2020, the Mooney, JF Arrow 3, PMDG DC6, Seminole, C 172 Steam Gauge, I haven't experienced any of them that fly like they are on rails. I have about 600 hours in RL flying GA aircraft, and I think the aircraft in MSFS that I have flown, act pretty close to real life, especially in Mountainous areas with turbulence. Never experienced that in any other sim, and I have been simming for well over 3 decades, including the 5 A2A aircraft I flew in P3D. Edited September 25, 20214 yr by Bobsk8
September 25, 20214 yr Just discovered something on the Seminole, there is a switch on the lighting panel that says "Recog Light".. Couldn't figure out what it turned on, I finally saw that it is two white light on the wingtips facing forward about a foot inboard of the end of each wing. BTW, the lighting on the Seminole is the best of any aircraft lighting I have seen so far in MSFS. The landing lights are bright, and light up the approach area, and the panel lights are totally adjustable and look fantastic. This will be my favorite aircraft to fly at night, by far.
