When will we be able to add AIRWAYS?

Featured Replies

I have a lot of routes that have airways in them when using Simbrief, is there a way to add airways into LNM that I'm unaware of?

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

Why would we need to use an airway if there is no real traffic?

🤔

Copy and paste flightplan from Simbrief into LNM "new flightplan route", the airways are shown. Don't forget to enable the "show airways" icon for map display.

Mainly because you want to adjust the LMN/Simbrief/Navigraph generated routes (if e.g. you want to pass over a specific point - a friends town - which is NOT in the Auto generated routes).

Secondarily, are you still looking at the possibility to import Simbrief FP's (and possibly Airframes)?

You can already to all that:

Flight plan import is planned for a (far) future update.

For now export the plans as X-Plane FMS in SimBrief and load this into LNM. I suggest X-Plane FMS since this format allows to save and load all procedure information. Other formats like MSFS PLN are too limited.
I suppose SimBrief does not support saving of LNMPLN yet? Did anyone request this from them?

Airframe import will not happen. Too many differences.

Still not sure if I understand the request. Maybe you're looking for something like this: https://github.com/albar965/littlenavmap/issues/357
