September 28, 20214 yr Well I finally had this issue today, big time! Two hours into a flight from St George, Utah, to Denver, Centennial. Mine was clearly related to weather and weather engines. When my framerate first slowed was just after a weather update, noticeable by the quick change in cloud. Still I escaped into Options and toggled both traffic and developer mode on and then off. No improvement. Tried two or three times with the suggested sequences. I went into the graphics settings and lower some of them. No change. Then I switched from REX WF to Unreal Weather. Got way worse. Dropped from the low 20's to under 5. Switched back to REX WF. Framerate only improved to the mid teens. It had been in the low 20's. Selected an MSFS setting for some clouds. Frame rates did not change. Switched to MSFS live weather. Suddenly back to my established 30 FPS. Back to Unreal Weather. Frame rates normal. Back to REX WF, still at my established 30 fps. So why did it rear its ugly head, and really why did it just as quickly resuscitate. Makes we wonder if it is a general data feed issue. Could explain why we appear to be seeing differences in what affects it. I have a 450 mbps service.
