Double click installer. Enter email and password when prompted as part of the installation. Load X-Plane. Enter email and password in the pop up for the add on. Click Authorize. Every 6 months, re-enter email and password (for YOUR security, in case you throw away a hard drive or sell your computer with the add on still installed. You can even remotely de-activate the add on if your PC is somewhere on the other side of the planet.) No 18 character serials to remember, save or write down. No emailing support when activations exceed the limit. No emailing support asking for a replacement serial in case you lose it. If you sell your PC, with an already activated add on that is activated with a serial, that activation remains...forever. So someone else enjoys something you paid for. In all seriousness, please, can you please point out where the inconvenience within Gizmo's DRM lies? It's easily the least inconvenient DRM that is out there. And it was designed according to customers feedback. If you have some kind of agenda against Gizmo, that's fine, but back it up with facts. Not your own narrative. No DRM on their OS (except the password "pleasedonotsteal"), no DRM on their itunes. no piracy of note. Edited October 1, 20214 yr by mSparks AutoATC Developer

Along with everything you just posted. I mean, its not quite as inconvenient as having to put a CD in a drive for no reason every time you want to start a program, but still more inconvenient than not having to do any of that. October 1, 20214 yr Commercial Member I honestly don't know what kind of reality you're living in. 2 things. Agree to disagree. If you don't like purchasing anything with a DRM...don't.

October 1, 20214 yr Commercial Member You're going to have to explain that one. I have no idea what you're asking me.

October 1, 20214 yr Commercial Member Of course it does. There was no way that was going to market without a DRM.

Ouch. And you suffer that inconvenience because of people that have vowed never to pay you? (that fly it regardless) wow. Agree to disagree whether that makes sense for sure. Thanks to the dishonest people in the flight simming community. 5 minutes ago, mSparks said: Ouch. Hardly. 5 minutes ago, mSparks said: And you suffer that incontinence because of people who have vowed never to pay you? No. The TBM, and its DRM, have afforded me the time necessary for me to make my next add on. 3 years so far. And I'm grateful to everyone who has purchased it, and to the DRM itself. Honestly, trying to understand your thinking, and trying to make you understand why DRM is important for developers AND customers, is exhausting. Sparks, you're not my publisher. You're not a customer. You admitted to trying to crack DRM's. And you believe DRM, the very thing developers depend on to ensure the safety of their own products, and ensure customers paid-for products, remain secure, should be illegal. What planet do you live on?? Can you please just stop? You're not going to change your mind. And, short of you pulling a gun on me, I'm not going to change mine. Let it go. It's gone from a pointless thread, to one that should be deleted. Do what you want. Don't preach to me about what I should do with my own work.

Besides missing the point completely (I have xtlua, autoatc, a helicopter and a couple of planes in dev that need a licencing system and gizmo and sasl definitely isnt it) Do you actually believe gizmo wasnt patched within days of its new release?
