October 3, 20214 yr Doing some testing, and crossing my fingers that these two continue to play well together. One is freeware and the other is payware. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
October 3, 20214 yr I am confused what setting to use for these products to be used together. Global shipping requires a ships & ferries setting of 80-100%. Nielsen's Global shipping requires a setting of just 7% . Given the very different requirements, how can these play nicely together? At a setting of 7%, wouldn't Seafront Global shipping disappear? Not sure they do play nicely together, but in the video, they recommend a 70% setting if you have both active.. Personally, I would choose to have only one active at a time... but YMMV.. 😉 Edited October 3, 20214 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

Yes, at a setting of 7% Seafront Global shipping would disappear, and will be replaced by Nielsen's Global Shipping instead. Nielsen's has more ship variety but the instructions are the setting for Ships and Leisure.in MSFS should be less than 10%. On the other hand, Seafront's settings recommendation is 90-100% for its version. Another difference is that Seafront's paid version has ship's wakes now, whereas Nielsen's freeware version does not have them now. There are also the usual differences between payware and freeware eg. tech support commitment, continuity, and predictability. Additional details are discussed in the comments section of the YouTube link above. I agree that it's probably best to have only one active at a time. Having both will work side-by-side too but with some limitations. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Thanks I decided to keep it simple by just going with Seafront's solution using both their programs for now. It's working well. But I'll check Henrik's mods again after they get ship waves. I just can't get my head around viewing ships that are supposed to be moving without ship wakes (especially sailing boats with wind blown sails).
