October 18, 20214 yr After viewing @Stoopy's thread I decided to start from his destination SCRU Puerto Murta in Chile and found appropriate to fly East to SAQE Los Antiguos in Argentina (yes, this is a terrible pun😋) !      We have left the humid lands close to the Pacific to drier lands   Chile Chico   the river (pic below) is the border between Chile and Argentina   Edited October 18, 20214 yr by Dominique_K Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam Â
October 19, 20214 yr Looks like a great flight! Its easy to appreciate flying in this part of the world. I might stop by SAQE on my way back up (took a while for my thick skull to get the pun) as I am heading south as far as I can go. Its already starting to feel like I am reaching the edge of the world down here. But loving the scenery and bush flights. Still looking for those flamingos. On the way through Central America I fell in love with Costa Rica and my virtual pilot parked his cranky old DC-6 and took a few weeks off there to drink rum and fly NeoFly bush missions. I feel another such vacation coming on... "That's what" - She

No flamingo !  No flamingo but snow on the strip and I didn't equip the Porter with skis so I diverted to Cochrane which has quite a nice approach.  Costa Rica is indeed well served by MSFS. Lots of small bush strips on the Pacific coast,SE of Nicoya. I like Peru too, specially flights over the Andes. Flying MSFS below 10K feet in many "exotic" places can be pretty spectacular. Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam Â
