October 22, 20214 yr I used to think rainbows are rare phenomena after being around for more than half a century on this planet but in FS2020 i am garanteed to see many. Makes me wonder if that is at all realistic ? What isn't is the complete lack of any interesting wheather at jet cruise altitudes. that's for sure. October 22, 20214 yr I have to agree regarding rainbows. I set a weather preset to snow the other day with a local time of around 11:00am and there was a huge rainbow. They seem to be present almost every time there is rain in live weather now. IRL I have seen only one this year and it was at the usual time of seeing one. Rain had moved off in opposite direction of sun and the sun was low in the sky David

October 22, 20214 yr I agree the rainbows are a bit overdone and a bit too 'graphically intense' or something. They need a bit of refining and Im sure that will happen in the future. I would love to see mares tails and similar cirrus. I also hope they sort out the cloud colors and the banding/transparency issues that were introduced with SU5. Im not sure what they did or why. Looking forward to Nov 18th to try out the first iteration of the new weather system. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
