I think you can already get this, not a problem.  It is available HERE as I assume by 'good money' you mean in the 20-30 million dollar range.  Downside is you may have up upgrade your electrical service.  😉

Yeah I bet it is hahah!

I've been waiting on a good DC10 or Gulfstream! I helped a freeware group make their DC10 true to life. It was the SGA DC10 for 2004 if you remember them.

The SGA DC-10 flight model is still considered to be the best DC-10 flight model.  In fact it is used with the latest mods for the CLS DC-10, which when modded is pretty good, and a far cry from the original.

The flight model guy and I worked closely on that one to capture everything. I was testing two to three of his files a night. I took a bunch of engine readings in flight during different phases of flight. I gave him some performance charts and taught him how to work them. He was even able to capture the pitch up of the nose on landing as the spoilers went to the 2/3 position on touch down.

Maybe you should try and contact the developer and offer your expertise, help with real-world data, etc.Maybe that'll finally bring this to fruition. I don't see a link to a developer in the linked post quoted above.

Nope.

I also work for Gulfstream. That would be some hefty legal trouble, there.

im as excited as the next guy about all this, but…wait and see.
